About

Thank you so much for us exploring our journeys with us and we hope it inspires you to start one of your own. We are Paula and Scott, two 30-something adventure lovers with a passion for traveling the world and experiencing other cultures and ways of life. We hope sharing our stories with you will inspire you to do the same.

WHAT WE DO

We want to provide you with useful tips for making the most of your precious time and money when traveling. We love to be busy and pack as much as we possibly can into our travel so we hope this blog can help you plan your time as well.  Paula will provide you with actual itineraries and real life travel experiences from places Paula and Scott have been along with some real-world advice on what to avoid and what to see more of. Scott is the blog photographer and will hopefully inspire you with his amazing phots of the destinations around the world.

During our trips we exhaust ourselves finding new experiences and adventures. Paula’s favorite thing to say on vacation is “we can sleep when we’re home”. But this physically exhausting hiking, diving, rafting, camping, biking, driving and vista viewing energizes us. So if you’re inspired to adventure along with us, please read on.

ABOUT US

We have been traveling together since the age of 15 when we went white water rafting in West Virginia together. Since then, we have shared a love for travel and adventure.  We’ve travelled to multiple continents, countries and US states. When we’re not traveling we love spending time outside, especially near the water. During the summer months, we spend most of our free time fishing and boating in the sun. We live in an area filled with vacation homes so we like to think that even when we’re at home, we’re on vacation.

We both have full time jobs but make it a priority to find time to travel. Each month we take a road trip from our Wisconsin home. We love exploring our home like a tourist and find joy in discovering the amazing attractions the Midwest has to offer. We also make sure to set aside time and money for one or two amazing trips each year that are a week or more. These small and large trips rejuvenate us and give us the perspective we need to make us truly thankful for the lives we lead.
