Top 5 Things to do in Wisconsin

Wisconsin

Wisconsin is located in the nothernmost section of the United States. As such, the weather is cooler than much of the county. Remember that destinations farther north and along the lakeshore will typically be cooler.  This means that summer is the height of the tourist season due to the pleasant weather and availability of attractions like swimming and boating.

Fall is also a great time to experience Wisconsin. With the deciduous forests, Wisconsin experiences a great fall color show. Travel at the end of September or beginning of October for the best chance of seeing the color show. For a full color report, you can visit the Wisconsin Fall Color Report

While many people shy away from the state in the winter due to the cold and snow, Wisconsin can be a unique place to visit. Winter activities like snowmobiling, ice fishing and snowshoeing are available throughout the state.
