Wisconsin is located in the nothernmost section of the United States. As such, the weather is cooler than much of the county. Remember that destinations farther north and along the lakeshore will typically be cooler. This means that summer is the height of the tourist season due to the pleasant weather and availability of attractions like swimming and boating.
