Summer in Michigan is our favorite time of year. And with water everywhere it makes perfect sense! Don’t you want to visit Michigan when you can fully enjoy those Great Lakes with some swimming, boating, and fishing.
However, fall in Michigan is wonderful too. With acres and acres of designated forest lands, the fall color change in Michigan is beautiful. With lakeshore on one side of you and a forest on the other, there really isn’t a better place to visit in the fall.
Winter can be nice too if you’re interested in winter activities like snowmobiling and ice fishing. With all of the wilderness lands in the U.P. there is plenty of space to play in the snow.
Admittedly, spring in Michigan isn’t great. It’s wet and can be brutally cold.
